Gaza Faces Devastating Airstrikes Amid Worsening Humanitarian Crisis

Israeli forces launched airstrikes on Gaza on Sunday, killing at least 30 people. Since the conflict began, food shortages have claimed 440 lives, and families continue struggling to meet their basic needs. The strikes hit central Gaza, destroying homes in the al-Nusarat and Bigge refugee camps and trapping residents under rubble. Rescue teams worked through the night to free survivors. Many children suffered injuries and received treatment in hospitals. Meanwhile, families who recently fled Gaza City faced new danger as attacks continued in central areas.

Israeli forces warned residents to move south, yet they continued targeting central zones despite evacuation orders. Dozens of families trying to escape suffered injuries or died. The explosions lasted throughout the night, and some families lost all members in a single strike. The attacks left residents fearful and desperate.

Water and food remain extremely scarce. People stand in long lines to collect only ten liters of water per day, which cannot cover drinking, cooking, or washing needs. Families also lack tents, clothing, and hygiene supplies. Many who fled northern Gaza and Gaza City now live in temporary tents along a coastal road in Al-Mawasi. These tents have no electricity, clean water, or proper sanitation.

Evacuation zones present serious challenges. Residents struggle to access food, medicine, and safe housing. Families fight to survive while fleeing bombardments. Children, women, and the elderly face high risk, and the humanitarian crisis continues to worsen.

Hospitals are overwhelmed and running low on bandages, medicines, and blood. Doctors and nurses work around the clock to treat the growing number of injured people, often in unsafe conditions. Strikes have damaged some medical facilities, making care even more difficult.

Malnutrition continues to rise. Many families have no food reserves left, and children and adults sometimes skip meals because they cannot find anything to eat. Humanitarian groups urge immediate action to deliver food, water, and medicine. Civilians remain exposed to ongoing airstrikes, increasing the danger further.

Evacuating residents proves difficult because roads are blocked or damaged, and temporary shelters overflow. Families sleep in small tents with minimal protection from the weather. Many lack blankets, clothing, or clean water, which puts them at risk of illness.

Schools in Gaza have closed, preventing children from attending classes. Education officials warn that long interruptions will harm learning and development. Repeated exposure to violence has also caused serious mental health challenges for children and adults alike.

International organizations call for urgent help. They warn that without immediate intervention, malnutrition, disease, and deaths will continue to rise. The death of the infant highlights the severe human cost of the conflict, while the destruction of homes and infrastructure has left tens of thousands without shelter or basic services.

The situation in Gaza shows the deadly combination of conflict and humanitarian disaster. Families face violence, hunger, lack of water, and inadequate medical care, while hospitals and temporary shelters struggle to cope. Without international aid and urgent intervention, civilians will continue to face worsening conditions. Immediate relief and protection remain essential to save lives.
